Big Horse Creek Cabin

Choose this 100 year old completely renovated Appalachian mountain cabin for a perfect mountain vacation. Built on the old Virginia Creeper railway line (tracks were removed in 1977), high above Big Horse Creek, this cabin can easily be your home away from home. Enjoy the relaxing sound of the creek as it rushes by this 25 acre farm. Hiking, trout-fishing and star-gazing opportunities abound!


We supply everything you need: paper towels, toilet paper, linens, detergent and wood for the fireplace.

The cottage sleeps 6. There are two bedrooms, a sleeping loft and two bathrooms. It is equipped with a full kitchen, TV with satellite, DVD player, outdoor shower and wood-burning fireplace. Wireless internet service is also available.
